Eric Johnson was quite the holiday hit with the Simpson brood!

The former NFL player, who proposed to Jessica Simpson in November, spent Christmas Eve with the Simpson clan this year — and the family time was seemingly a success.

“Eric is the perfect addition to our family,” Jessica Tweeted on Sunday. “We all stayed at my parents on xmas eve.

“We are lucky to have 3 new studs in the fam: Pete, BX, and EJ!” she added of her sister Ashlee’s husband Pete Wentz, the couple’s son Bronx and her fianc.

Eric wasn’t the only hit this Christmas, however. The “With You” singer left no man behind in her praise – including a furrier, four-legged friend.
